Greg Mather, the brainchild of the original NTPL and now the American Team Pickleball League (ATPL), is the founder and President of the Arizona Pickleball Players League (APPL). Greg has considerable USTA League experience as a player. In 2019, he created APPL to bring a similar team-based league format to the rapidly growing pickleball community throughout Arizona, drawing inspiration from the success of his East Valley Interclub League, aka EVIL Pickleball, which he crafted in 2012. Greg has been instrumental in facilitating league standardization and rapid league start-up, sharing the unique and exciting APPL team-based format and scoring with other leagues throughout the country who embrace a similar vision of a national team-based league infrastructure. This infrastructure is now the ATPL. 

Kathy has been volunteering with Pickleball tournaments for 5 years at Pictona in Holly Hill Florida. She is a member of the Northeast Pickleball League team the Golden Girls for the last two years. Kathy has been a Florida Certified public accountant since 1995 and owns her own public Accounting firm. Kathy has been an executive board member as Treasurer for many Non Profits organizations for the past 40 years.

Denise started the Oregon Team Pickleball League in Central Oregon in 2021. It started with 6 teams of wonderful 4.0 women and it took off from there. Then expanded with M 4.0 and 3.5 and W 3.5 also. Last season OTPL expanded and added a Willamette Valley Region and had the first OTPL state play-offs. OTPL is at over 1000 registered players in Oregon now.
Denise also volunteers on the Arizona Pickleball Players League West Valley Region's leadership crew as the Mixed League Coordinator. She enjoys playing Team Pickleball and has promoted and voluntarily worked to get the National League going through ATPL.

Diane has a long history with racquet sports, playing tennis from a young age, transitioning to racquetball in her 20's and getting ranked in the state of Florida, and then pickleball! She played a few times 30 years ago in Wisconsin and did not know it was a real thing. She then rediscovered it 10 years ago and was hooked.
She has gone on the organize tournaments, mixers and and help fundraise for local charities through pickelball events. She decided to start a local league, and a friend from AZ told her about APPL. She had a call with Greg Mather, from APPL, and got excited about the idea of taking the league to the enitre state of Floida. She is now the president of the Florida Team Pickleball League with over 2400 partiipants in the last season, with teams now going on to compete with ATPL in AZ.

Jon Graham and his wife, Dana, are the League Coordinators of the Desert ATPL in Coachella Valley, California. They have two adult children and together they built a successful Financial Services business. Jon began playing tennis at age three, discovered pickleball four years ago and fell in love with it.
